Felony Stop on a Tow Truck

One of the guys on my shift gets behind a stolen vehicle and begins following it giving out locations. Everyone is pretty far away so we all start running code to get to him. The vehicle gets on the highway and we are all racing to catch up. It takes us probably a good 10 minutes before the first backups are able to catch up to them. As we are on our way down there we here another one of the guys come across the air and say his vehicle is out of service and give his location. It happens so we don't think anything of
it. We are there processing the vehicle and filling out tow slips and everything after the felony stop. The tow truck gets there and low and behold our buddy made to the felony stop on the back of the tow truck. I guess it is better late than never. About a week later we are running code to get to someone and he gets cut off and looses control and blows out both of his tires on his car. I guess that it just was not his week. |
